Product Safety
Last updated: August 27, 2026
CelinieJourney is committed to offering jewelry that is thoughtfully selected, clearly described, and suitable for ordinary jewelry use when worn, stored, and cared for properly. This Product Safety policy provides important safety, care, and use information for customers who purchase or wear CelinieJourney jewelry.
Please read product descriptions, materials, sizing details, care guidance, warnings, and related policies before purchasing or wearing jewelry. If you have questions about a product, material, fit, care method, or safety concern, please contact us before use.
Intended Use
CelinieJourney jewelry is intended for personal adornment and ordinary adult jewelry use. Jewelry is not a toy, medical device, safety device, investment product, or protective item. Jewelry should be worn with reasonable care and should not be used in ways that place unusual stress on stones, settings, chains, clasps, plating, posts, prongs, or other components.
Do not use jewelry for chewing, teething, holding objects, securing clothing or accessories, lifting, pulling, tying, piercing, or any activity other than ordinary wear.
Children and Small Parts
Jewelry may contain small parts, stones, clasps, posts, chains, beads, charms, or other components that can present choking, ingestion, aspiration, or injury risks if placed in the mouth, swallowed, broken, or handled improperly.
CelinieJourney jewelry is not intended for children under 13 unless a product page expressly states otherwise. Keep jewelry and packaging materials away from infants, toddlers, young children, and pets. Children should not wear, handle, or play with jewelry without appropriate adult supervision.
If any jewelry component becomes loose, detached, broken, sharp, or damaged, stop using the item immediately and keep it away from children and pets.
Allergies and Skin Sensitivities
Some customers may be sensitive or allergic to metals, plating, coatings, adhesives, cleaning residues, stones, or other materials used in jewelry. Reactions may vary by person and may occur even with materials that many customers wear comfortably.
If you have known sensitivities to nickel, gold, silver, copper, brass, rhodium, plated finishes, adhesives, or other jewelry materials, please review product details carefully and contact us before purchasing. Stop wearing jewelry if irritation, redness, swelling, itching, rash, discomfort, or other reaction occurs, and consult a qualified healthcare professional if symptoms persist or are severe.
Plated Finishes and Material Wear
Some CelinieJourney jewelry may include plated finishes, such as gold-plated or white-gold-plated finishes over sterling silver or other disclosed materials. Plated finishes may naturally fade, wear, darken, or change over time depending on use, skin chemistry, moisture, chemicals, friction, storage, cleaning methods, and frequency of wear.
To help preserve plated finishes and reduce skin or product issues, remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, sleeping, cleaning, using chemicals, applying lotions, perfumes, oils, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, hair products, or cosmetics.
Stone, Setting, Chain, and Clasp Safety
Jewelry settings, stones, chains, clasps, prongs, posts, jump rings, and other components can become loose or damaged through impact, pulling, bending, snagging, improper storage, improper cleaning, or normal wear. Before wearing jewelry, especially rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings with stones or delicate details, inspect the item for looseness, sharp edges, bent components, missing stones, broken links, or clasp issues.
Do not wear jewelry if you notice damage, looseness, sharpness, missing stones, or a component that may detach. Contact us for guidance before continuing to wear the item.
Care and Storage
Proper care helps reduce damage and safety risks. We recommend that you:
- Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, showering, exercising, sleeping, cleaning, or doing manual work.
- Avoid contact with chlorine, saltwater, household cleaners, bleach, alcohol, acetone, perfumes, lotions, oils, sunscreen, cosmetics, and hair products.
- Store jewelry separately in a dry, clean place to reduce scratching, tangling, tarnish, and plating wear.
- Clean jewelry gently with methods suitable for the specific material and stone type.
- Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners, abrasive cloths, harsh chemicals, or polishing compounds unless you are certain they are safe for the specific item.
- Inspect jewelry periodically for loose stones, weakened clasps, bent posts, damaged chains, or other signs of wear.
Moissanite, Laboratory-Grown Gemstones, and Imitation Stones
CelinieJourney product pages may describe stones such as moissanite, laboratory-grown gemstones, cubic zirconia, or other stone types. We aim to describe stones accurately and in accordance with applicable product information and jewelry advertising standards.
Different stone types may vary in durability, care needs, appearance, hardness, chemical composition, brilliance, and resistance to wear. Customers should review product details carefully before purchasing and contact us with questions about a specific stone or material.
Product Images, Scale, and Appearance
Product images are provided to help customers understand the design, but images may be enlarged, cropped, styled, edited for lighting, or shown on models, displays, or props. Colors, metal tone, stone appearance, sparkle, scale, and finish may vary depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, and production differences.
Please review product descriptions, measurements, stone details, material details, and sizing information together with product images before purchasing.
California Proposition 65
Some products, packaging, or materials may be subject to California Proposition 65 warning requirements if they can expose consumers to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
If a Proposition 65 warning is required for a product, packaging, website notice, or shipment, we may provide the required warning where applicable. A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is unsafe when used as intended, but it indicates that a listed chemical exposure may occur under California law.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item appears defective, damaged, incorrect, missing components, unsafe, or not as described, stop using it and contact us promptly. For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we may request your order number, photos, videos, packaging images, product details, and a description of the issue so we can review the matter.
Damage or product issues should be reported according to our 30-Day Returns & Exchanges policy and, where applicable, our Free 2-Year Limited Warranty.
Stop Use and Report Safety Concerns
If you believe a product has a safety issue, stop wearing or using it immediately. Keep the item, packaging, and any loose components in a safe place away from children and pets. Contact us with details so we can review the concern.
Please include your order number, product name, photos or videos, a description of the concern, and whether any injury or property damage occurred. Do not continue wearing jewelry that appears broken, sharp, loose, unstable, or otherwise unsafe.
Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications
Repairs, resizing, polishing, replating, stone replacement, soldering, cleaning, engraving, or modifications performed by a third party may affect product safety, appearance, durability, return eligibility, exchange eligibility, or warranty coverage. Please contact us before arranging third-party work on a CelinieJourney item.
No Absolute Safety Guarantee
We work to provide jewelry that is suitable for ordinary use when worn and cared for properly, but jewelry can still break, wear, tarnish, loosen, scratch, snag, cause sensitivity, or become unsafe depending on use, storage, care, accidents, individual sensitivity, and other factors. Nothing in this policy is intended to guarantee that a product will be free from all risks under every circumstance.
