Human Rights and Supply Chain Transparency

Last updated: August 27, 2026

CelinieJourney is committed to conducting business with integrity and to continuously improving the responsibility, transparency, and care reflected in our sourcing, manufacturing, operations, and business relationships. We believe beautiful jewelry should be created with respect for people, communities, and the planet.

This Human Rights and Supply Chain Transparency policy explains our expectations for suppliers and business partners, our approach to responsible sourcing, and the standards we seek to uphold as our business grows.

Our Commitment

We are committed to respecting human rights and supporting responsible business practices across our operations and supply chain. This includes an expectation that workers are treated fairly, work is performed voluntarily, workplaces are safe and lawful, and products are sourced and manufactured with care.

We recognize that responsible sourcing is an ongoing process, especially in the jewelry industry, where materials, stones, metals, plating, packaging, logistics, and manufacturing may involve multiple suppliers and service providers. We aim to make thoughtful sourcing decisions, work with trusted partners, and improve our practices over time.

Supplier and Business Partner Expectations

We expect suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, service providers, and other business partners who work with CelinieJourney to comply with applicable laws and to support responsible practices, including:

  • No forced, bonded, indentured, prison, trafficked, or involuntary labor.
  • No child labor and compliance with applicable minimum working age laws.
  • Lawful wages, working hours, benefits, and employment practices.
  • Safe, clean, and respectful working conditions.
  • No harassment, abuse, discrimination, retaliation, or degrading treatment.
  • Respect for workers' rights to raise concerns without retaliation.
  • Compliance with anti-corruption, anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, and trade laws.
  • Responsible sourcing and accurate product information.
  • Environmental responsibility and efforts to reduce avoidable harm where practical.

Responsible Jewelry Practices

CelinieJourney focuses on responsible jewelry practices that are practical for our business model and meaningful to our customers. These include using laboratory-grown gemstones, incorporating recycled precious metals whenever possible, selecting responsible materials, reducing avoidable waste, and continuing to improve packaging, fulfillment, and operations.

Our jewelry may include laboratory-grown gemstones, moissanite, sterling silver, plated finishes, recycled precious metals where available, and other materials described on product pages. We expect product information provided by suppliers and partners to be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

More information about our responsibility commitments is available on our Responsibility page.

Laboratory-Grown Gemstones

We use laboratory-grown gemstones as part of our effort to offer beautiful jewelry while reducing reliance on newly mined stones. Laboratory-grown gemstones can provide exceptional brilliance, durability, and appearance while supporting a more thoughtful approach to sourcing.

We expect suppliers of laboratory-grown gemstones and related materials to comply with applicable laws and to provide accurate information about the nature, quality, and description of the materials supplied.

Precious Metals and Recycled Materials

Whenever possible, we aim to incorporate recycled precious metals and responsibly sourced materials into our manufacturing and supply chain. Precious metals can often be refined and reused without compromising purity or performance, which may help reduce demand for newly extracted resources.

Because supply availability, product requirements, plating methods, supplier capabilities, and quality standards may vary, not every product will contain recycled precious metals. We will continue working to expand responsible material choices where quality, durability, and craftsmanship can be maintained.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

We seek to work with suppliers and business partners who share our commitment to responsible practices. Our approach may include reviewing supplier information, product specifications, sourcing details, manufacturing capabilities, documentation, certifications, policies, or other information where relevant and available.

We recognize leading responsible sourcing frameworks, including guidance from organizations such as the OECD and jewelry industry standards bodies, as useful references for identifying and managing risks in mineral and jewelry supply chains. As a growing business, we aim to build practical due diligence processes that are appropriate to our size, supplier relationships, product categories, and available resources.

Forced Labor, Child Labor, and Human Trafficking

CelinieJourney does not knowingly support forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, slavery, or involuntary labor in our operations or supply chain. We expect our suppliers and business partners to maintain lawful labor practices and to avoid sourcing, manufacturing, or business practices connected to forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.

If we become aware of credible concerns involving forced labor, child labor, trafficking, or serious human rights risks connected to a supplier or business partner, we may review the matter, request information, require corrective action, suspend purchases, end a relationship, or take other appropriate steps depending on the circumstances.

Workplace Standards

We expect suppliers and business partners to provide safe and respectful working conditions. This includes appropriate workplace health and safety practices, lawful compensation, lawful working hours, and treatment of workers with dignity and respect.

We also expect business partners to prohibit harassment, discrimination, abuse, threats, retaliation, and other conduct inconsistent with responsible business practices.

Anti-Corruption and Lawful Conduct

We expect suppliers and business partners to conduct business honestly and lawfully. This includes compliance with anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, trade, customs, tax, consumer protection, product safety, labeling, and other applicable laws.

We expect product information, invoices, documents, sourcing statements, and certifications provided to CelinieJourney to be accurate and not misleading.

Environmental Responsibility

Human rights and environmental responsibility are often connected. We encourage suppliers and partners to use resources thoughtfully, reduce avoidable waste, comply with environmental laws, handle materials responsibly, and work toward lower-impact practices where practical.

CelinieJourney also supports continuous improvement in our own operations, including responsible packaging choices, efficient fulfillment practices, and ecological restoration initiatives where available.

Monitoring and Corrective Action

We may review supplier and partner practices through information requests, documentation review, product review, certifications, supplier communications, or other reasonable methods. Our level of review may vary based on supplier type, product category, available information, order volume, and identified risks.

If a supplier or partner does not meet our expectations, we may request clarification, require corrective action, pause sourcing, seek alternative suppliers, or end the relationship where appropriate. Because supply chains may be complex, we may prioritize practical steps that reduce risk and encourage improvement.

Transparency and Limitations

We aim to be honest about our sourcing and responsibility practices. At the same time, we may not have direct control over every upstream supplier, raw material source, subcontractor, facility, transportation provider, or third-party process involved in the full supply chain.

Statements about responsible sourcing, recycled materials, laboratory-grown gemstones, packaging, environmental initiatives, or supplier practices are based on information reasonably available to us, supplier representations, product specifications, internal review, and our current business practices. We may update these statements as our sourcing, suppliers, operations, or available information changes.

Reporting Concerns

If you have a concern about human rights, labor practices, sourcing, product claims, counterfeiting, or supply chain conduct connected to CelinieJourney, please contact us at legal@celiniejourney.com. Please include any relevant details, such as supplier information, product links, order numbers, documents, screenshots, or other supporting information.

We review concerns in good faith. We prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a concern honestly and in good faith.
